ABOUT LUMINOUS
Luminous Robotics is automating the construction of utility-scale solar farms. Our robot, LUMI, autonomously installs solar modules, taking on the most labour-intensive part of solar construction and doing it faster, safer, and more consistently than manual crews. We are on a mission to commoditize harsh manual work by deploying embodied AI into the world’s hardest industrial environments, starting with solar.
This is not a concept. LUMI is on active utility-scale solar sites in Australia today, and we are deploying across multiple projects as we scale. Headquartered in Boston with our Australian operation based in Melbourne, we are growing fast, and Australia is a priority market.
The opportunity is enormous. Australia alone needs tens of gigawatts of new solar built this decade, and the global pipeline is an order of magnitude larger. Labour shortages and rising costs are already throttling the industry’s ability to deliver. We are the answer to that bottleneck, and we are moving quickly to capture it.
