Summary: Luminous Robotics will pilot its proprietary LUMI autonomous, flexible robot for solar module installation at two utility-scale solar farm sites in NSW and VIC. The project aims to reduce solar photovoltaic (PV) levelised cost of energy (LCOE) by up to 6.2% and enhance installation efficiencies by 3.5 times compared to traditional manual installation methods, supporting ARENA’s 30-30-30 vision for Ultra Low Cost Solar.
